Casting directors looking for certain other variables when they go through resumes, composite cards, and hold interviews; the most important being attitude and confidence. Think about it! What kind of director would want someone who isn’t confident in their abilities to read a script and convey emotion on screen? Sure knowing the right people and having an elaborately extensive resume will get you through the door, but it’s your confidence and attitude that will get you through the interview and onto the stage. • The Los Angeles TV acting class that I was looking for was something I really wanted to find. I have been working in the acting arts for a year now and I love it. I have done a couple of commercials that have only ran in my home town, but everyone told me I was a natural at acting and that I should definitely move to Los Angeles. So three months ago I did, I packed up everything I own and took my do and we moved to California. My brother has a company out there and he needed help in his office, so I would have a day job while that I was able to get an acting job. But I really wanted to find a good acting class to help me get my foot in the door. So I was thrilled when I found your website it helped me the perfect acting class for me.

  • I am looking for Modeling Jobs in Dallas. My husband and I just relocated here from Pittsburgh. His job transferred him to their new location and gave him a nice promotion. I had a relatively steady modeling career in Pittsburgh and I think I could probably continue making a decent living here in Dallas. I just need to find a couple modeling jobs to get things kicked off. I have done a little research but not a lot because we are still trying to get settled into our new home. I met a girl at a salon who gave me this website to help me out. I am still working to get working again but I know it does take time. However I have received one call from an agent who would be interested in representing me. In Pittsburgh I didnt have an agent but I was also pretty well known. I will give things a go and cross my fingers.

  • Miami Florida is an amazing area with hundreds of thousands of people who go there every year to relax by the beach and take in the sun rays. Miami Modeling has a ton of jobs available to those who are willing to strut their stuff to attract potential customers to clients trying to build their businesses. These models are known as promotional models. You can find them at the local bar or club, walking around with kind faces and hopefully getting you to buy some shots from them.

You may have also seen them with promotional teams for many of the beers, liquors and other products used at many of the bars. They will come in and hand out free merchandise covered in their company’s logo and many times have other fun prizes to win through contests and games. These promotional models are paid great money to basically goof around with customers and hopefully inspire people to try their products. Not a bad way to make a buck!

  • If there are good acting schools in Los Angeles, then certainly there are also bad ones. The good news however is that bad acting schools are easy to spot. The best thing you can do to separate the bad from the good is to do some research. Research can be in the form of reading blogs, asking friends who attend acting school for recommendations or experiences, reading testimonials, or attending an audit class. However, audit only the class you find interesting since you don’t want to blow your money away by attending each and every audit class. If a school won’t let you audit a beginning class then chances are it is a bad acting school. Good acting schools should be able to orient you with their programs and methods so beware of bad acting schools that only give you a quick tour of their facilities before they let you sign a contract.
